Use a workspace in Altimate Code¶
Link a project to a workspace, and Altimate Code works with that workspace's integrations, knowledge, memory and skills.
Link a project¶
- Install Altimate Code if you haven't already.

In your project folder, run
link: -
Pick a workspace, or create a new one. If you create it in the browser, click Create workspace there, then Return to CLI.
The web app shows the link command for any workspace under Open in → Altimate Code.
Once a project is linked¶
- The sidebar names the linked workspace and shows how much memory hasn't been synced yet.
/workspacein the TUI opens a menu. Refresh pulls the workspace's skills and memory into the project, Sync re-sends local memory the workspace hasn't received, and Unlink detaches the project.altimate-code skill publish <name>uploads one of the project's skills to the workspace. See Skills.
When the Altimate Workspaces extension starts Altimate Code for its chat, the workspace selected in the extension's panel is used for that session's skills and memory, even if the project is linked to a different one.
